Our midweek reflections go deeper, exploring themes of faith, hope, and discipleship in a way that nurtures steady growth in Christ.
Kindness — Fruit of the Spirit
Kindness in Today’s World
Kindness doesn’t have to be complicated. Sometimes it’s a smile, a word, a meal, a prayer. These small acts are seeds that God can grow into eternal fruit.
Patience — Fruit of the Spirit
Patience feels nearly impossible in today’s culture.
When we struggle to be patient, we remember the One who is perfectly patient with us. Every day, He bears with our weaknesses, forgives our slowness, and continues His work in us. His Spirit enables us to do the same for others.
Peace — Fruit of the Spirit
Where do you turn when life feels overwhelming?
True peace doesn’t come from money in the bank, a clean bill of health, or a perfect family. Those can disappear overnight. Peace is a Person — Jesus Himself. When the Spirit lives in us, He produces peace that anchors us even in chaos.
Joy — Fruit of the Spirit
Can joy exist even when life is hard?
We live in a culture that constantly chases happiness. Joy, however, is not tied to circumstances. Joy is not based on what’s happening around us. Joy is based on who is living within us. Christ. The Spirit gives us a joy that illness cannot take, disappointment cannot erase, and hardship cannot crush.
Love — Fruit of the Spirit
What Will People Remember About You More: Your Intelligence or Your Love for Others?
It’s far easier to keep people at arm’s length, to surround ourselves only with those who are “easy to love.” Yet Jesus tells us that even unbelievers can love those who love them back (Luke 6:32). Spirit-filled love goes beyond that.
